Chapter meeting on stream – Saturday June 18th @ 10am on Gribben Creek.

Google Maps link to pinned location

We’ll meet at Gribben Creek – click for a google map to the meeting point. We’ll be at the first bridge south of the t-intersection of Fillmore Cty 23 and Dew Drop road.   The bridge is about a mile south of the MN16/Cty 23 intersection, which is across the river from Whalen, MN.

We will need a couple of volunteers to get wet – kicking rocks and holding a seine.  Waders or wet – your choice!

As noted in the newsletter, John Weiss will demonstrate bug collection with a kick net, water quality testing, and we’ll try to identify the critters that we find. Everyone is welcome. A precise location will be shared closer to the event.

We’ll skip meeting in July, and pick back up in August.

There should be a lunker building workday on West Beaver in early June; We’ll let you know when that gets scheduled.
